Hello! My name is Opalwhisker! If you're anything like me, then you've become frustrated with the lack of magazines and articles directed towards the aspiring artist. I know that when I look at art magazines, many of the things they say go right over my head because the article is directed towards people who have experience in the drawing field. That, or you get bored of looking at the landscape and portrait paintings or drawings. All you want to do is LEARN, not read about some other painter or illustrator's success. You're just starting out as an artist, or maybe you just want to improve, but you have no idea where to go or what to look for. Well this blog is here to help! It contains interviews with cartoonists that will provide helpful tips, and tutorials to help you with step by step pictures and descriptions. I know right now it doesn't look like much, but i promise to do my best to get this blog up and running! Please, be patient with me if I make mistakes!
